Craig Hood is the founder of ProSponsor and a marketing strategist with over two decades of experience building brands, brokering deals, and launching platforms in emerging markets.

The idea for ProSponsor started with a single moment at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Craig watched a professional golfer step onto the course with every logo on his apparel blacked out — no hat sponsor, no shirt logo, no shoe deal. Just blank space where brand partnerships should have been. That image stuck. It represented a broken marketplace: talented athletes with open endorsement opportunities that brands never discover, and brands actively looking for authentic athlete partnerships with no systematic way to find them.

Craig's career has been defined by seeing inefficient markets and building the infrastructure to fix them. From pioneering eCommerce strategies in the early 2000s to developing AI-powered marketing platforms, his work has consistently focused on connecting the right partners at the right time — whether that's brands with customers, or in ProSponsor's case, brands with athletes.

His approach to ProSponsor is shaped by decades on the brand side of marketing. He understands what CMOs and brand managers actually need: not just athlete names, but partnership intelligence — which endorsement categories are open, what the market rate looks like, and how to evaluate fit. That brand-side perspective is what sets ProSponsor apart from athlete-facing platforms.

Craig is also leading ProSponsor's NIL compliance tools for D2, D3, and NAIA athletic departments — schools that need affordable solutions for the rapidly evolving Name, Image, and Likeness landscape.
